2024 CHA REQUEST FOR PILOT PROPOSALS
Emory Center for Health in Aging aims to promote the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual health of older adults and address the challenges that threaten their health and well-being. We are seeking applications that fit this mission, which can be completed in one year. Submissions are due to Glen Thomas (GLTHOM2@emory.edu) by Monday, November 25, 2024, at 5 p.m. EST.

Established in 2009, the Bettye Rose Connell Memorial Lecture series commemorates Dr. Connell’s dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable elders. Each spring, distinguished regional and national researchers are invited to Emory University and the Atlanta VA Medical Center to honor her legacy and promote continued scholarship in this field. The 2024 Bettye Rose Connell Memorial Lecture Series will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Presented by the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology and Emory SOM. This course is designed to give medical providers and other members of the multi-disciplinary health care team basic and cutting-edge knowledge for optimizing the delivery of services to the expanding older adult population. This event will be held at the Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Hotel and Conference Center located at 2443 Hwy 54 West Peachtree City, Georgia, from July 19 - 20, 2024.
